NDC'S Suitcase Diplomacy Crew Revisits Canada and the U.S.

The NDC, in true Suitcase Diplomacy, has once again taken their “Gloom and Doom” show to Canada and the U.S. Their new distorted thinking is: “if we cannot damage Grenada and the NNP at home let us do so abroad (in foreign).” And the other motive, as alleged, is to prepare for a hasty retreat because their lies are catching up with them and they are beginning to feel the heat. They are now victims of the old adage: “you can fool some of the people all the time, but not all the people all the time.

As the days go by, and as the NDC continue to act out in desperation, the Grenadian people are seeing them for who they really are - the political “Wrecking Crew.” There are totally out of touch with what it takes to manage their respective professions therefore how could they be expected to run this country?. They want to buy a car before first learning to drive.

Fellow Grenadians, all the talk by the NDC about fund-raising is another of their “Red-herring” tricks. One does not have to be an accountant to realize that these pretenders are putting out much more money than they are receiving. How can they claim to be raising funds in the name of helping Grenada when the finances from each trip cannot cover their lavish travel expenses? There is obviously something very sinister going on.

When NDC talks about leadership they must understand that leadership goes beyond words – it calls for action (“empty barrels make the most noise”). The recent irresponsible statement by Senator George Prime in the Senate is yet another ploy by the NDC team to misinform the general public. His claim that there were approximately 10, 000 names missing from the current list of electors is ridiculous. What was a normal computer malfunction, with the requisite back-up, was deliberately broadcasted by the NDC operatives as a national problem. The public is therefore assured that all the information pertinent to the voter registration process is available and not a single name has been lost.

This happened, only days after the malicious attempt by the President of the Bar Association to create a T.B scare in the international and local community. The ways in which they attempt to create discord locally and embarrass their own country in the international community is a display of political ignorance and downright disgraceful. And the way in which they are bad-spending the people’s contributions clearly highlights their dishonesty.

It is important to note that NDC’S foolish behaviour especially in the international community does not hurt the NNP but it surely hurts the image of our blessed country. If only this fact would get through the thick and demented skulls of the “Wrecking Crew” Grenada and Grenadians will be better served.

We are blessed to have a Government that stands above this nonsense and we are highly respected both at home and abroad, thanks to the efforts of our Prime Minister, and all patriotic Grenadians at home and abroad.
