Parliamentary representatibe Honorable Yolande Bain Horsford of the St. Andrew's South West Constituency held a Community meeting with the residents of Grand Bras on Thursday 17th, January to put together a management committee for the Community Center and Basketball Court. The meeting was attended by a wide cross section of persons from the Community including the Rastafarian Community.

In her welcome remarks to the Community, she clearly stated the objectives of the meeting:

- To discuss the plans and projects for the Community Center - A number of ideas came out of the meeting such as having a Community Library, Skills Training and elderly program.

- To put together an effective management Committee. The Minister stressed the Importance of the Management Committee and the role they would play in Managing the Center.

- Discuss the date for the opening - To be discussed further with Management Committee

Honorable Yolande Bain-Horsford was quite pleased with the turn out and the healthy discussion that came from member of the Community.
