Devon Rache says the performance of
Andre Fletcher and Lewis Hamilton
over the weekend should serve to
motivate young men and women to
follow their dreams in the field of
sports. Speaking
on the behalf of the opposition,
Sen. Rache has extended
congratulations to both Andre
Fletcher and Lewis

Hamilton for
their outstanding performances over
the weekend. He said Hamilton’s
victory which makes him the 2008 FIA
Formula 1 World Champion, is an
achievement every Grenadian should
be proud of. Referring to Andre
Fletcher, he noted that Andre
contributed to the victory of the
Stanford team and his reward of 1
million dollars is well deserved.
Speaking at the General Council
Meeting held at St. Mark’s Secondary
School on Sunday, Leader of the
Opposition, Dr. The Rt. Hon. Keith
Mitchell also congratulated the
youngsters. He said the investments
his administration made in sports
were made with the understanding of
the potential of our young people.
He called on the new Government to
continue to build on the many
achievements made by the NNP
administration while in office.
Speaking on the performance of
Hamilton, Dr. Mitchell said that
Grenadians have lost out on a golden
opportunity to benefit economically
from the success of Hamilton,
because the NDC Administration is
prepared to govern by the politics
of spite, hate and envy.
