St. George’s, Grenada November 29th,
2011:
The NNP Caretaker
for the Town of St George, bro. Nickolas Steele; made a
donation of a Popcorn Machine to the Young Generation Sports
Club of the Carenage, St. George’s.
Mr. Steele, who has made
financial contribution to the club in the past, said this
however is by far the most rewarding contribution he has
made. He is of the view that we have to assist in creating
the environment for the young people to make a contribution
in the development of the club as they engage in positive
activities. “It is one thing to make a financial
contribution, but it’s another when you empower the club to
start raising its own funds in the development of its
members and the community as a whole.
The NNP Caretaker feels
strongly that the club should be assisted in every way
possible to become independent, hence his donation of the
Popcorn Machine. He encourages the club to make good use
of the machine and to ensure that it is properly taken care
off.
In closing the NNP Caretaker
states that on this issue the the Honorable Peter David
cannot sit on both sides of the fence. He must either stand
up and represent his constituents that are being advantaged
by the government or he stands with a government that is
taking advantage of its most vulnerable. Will the real Peter
David Please Stand Up
